About Me
Taking that first step towards counselling can feel intimidating—and that’s completely normal. You might wonder what it’ll involve, or feel unsure about opening up. My aim is to make it as comfortable and supportive as possible.
Counselling gives you a confidential, non-judgmental space to talk about what’s on your mind. This could be anxiety, stress, low confidence, challenges in your relationships, or simply feeling stuck. For some, it’s about working through grief, trauma, or past experiences. For others, it’s about finding clarity and direction when life feels overwhelming.
I work in a person-centred way, so we move at a pace that feels right for you. You decide what we focus on, and I’ll guide you along the way. I also draw on CBT, Transactional Analysis, and psychodynamic therapy, so we can explore tools and approaches that might help. Whether that means reflecting on the past, tackling the present, or preparing for the future, we’ll go where you need to go.
I offer in-person counselling in Basingstoke, with sessions priced at £60 each. Reaching out can feel hard, but it’s a brave first step toward positive change—and you don’t have to do it alone.
